The Great Exchange

Friends,

As we approach Good Friday and Easter, let us ponder what the cross means to each of us. I have penned down a few thoughts below.. be blessed by it.


The Great Exchange

It was on the cross that He died and took my sins away
In place of sorrow, He gave me joy and peace
In place of my sickness and infirmities, He gave me healing
Every drop of blood that was shed for you and me on that cross
Was not to be shed in vain today

It was on the cross that He took my guilt and shame
And replaced it with righteousness and justice
He took everything that is ugly and sinful in you and me
And replaced it with His beauty and holiness
He took my weakness and replaced it with His strength
It was on that cross that the Great Exchange took place
More than 2,000 years ago!
